S'RTC
(Sports' Real-Time Coaching)
In close collaboration with the Institute of Sport (New South Wales) we made a simple alteration to
our first 'hard shell' product, the 'RTC', to develop this 'prototype' all sports product.
It has proved so successful we have released a limited number and tests are currently being run
in a long list of sports and outdoor pursuits.
We are currently revising this product in terms of aesthetics and fitting.
For general release very soon.
The principle is simple – wireless, direct communication from coach to
athlete, parent to child, friend to friend, in any action sport.
The system includes a headgear (the ‘SRTC’) with 100% waterproof speakers
and used with a standard UHF handheld radio (see 'Handset').
A transmission distance of up to 2.5 miles/4km makes it easy to communicate directly with
action sports participants in just about every discipline.
The helmet and radio charge like a cell phone. A magnetic key allows you to turn the power on and
off, adjust the volume and set the channel.
Most sports people use the product for the entire day and then re-charge it over
night. However, the battery lasts for up to 2.5 days!
