UHF transmitter / receiver that we have optimized to work with RTC & S'RTC. When we say optimized, we mean we have worked with the engineering dept. to minimize beginning and end transmission 'powerhump'.
We have also worked to minimize the background noise that can occur with some handhelds during transmission.
We like this product because it also announces the channel selected, so you can keep your eyes on the action as you switch between channels/athletes.

WATERPROOF UHF HANDHELDS: We get many requests about waterproof handhelds. We have, and continue, to test all products claiming to be waterproof. So far we have found no unit that is 100% waterproof. Those claiming it have details hidden in the small print such as 'waterproof to 1 metre for 30 seconds'. Beware! Check the small print and alternatively do what we do, and use a bag - something like Aquapac (www.aquapac.net), or PAqua (www.paqua.com.au) are good , versatile and inexpensive. There are many good bags around so you can head to the water / rain / snow /etc. in confidence.
