I'm not a barefoot skier, I have never seen barefoot water skiing in the flesh, and where I live it is too bloody cold for most watersport activities for about 10months a year.
But through Headzone I have been watching a barefooter by the name of Keith St.Onge. I got to know Chuck Gleason who among other things, runs a great site for barefoot skiers named Barefootcentral.
As a result I have become an 'armchair enthusiast' for barefooting. I have no desire to do it - far too mad for my liking - but I love to watch the videos of Keith and also Andre des Villers (did I spell that right?) and pump up the music.
Keith is now 7 times (get that ... 7 times!!) USA National Champion and World Record holder for slalom and tricks.
You know that feeling when you watch a great movie or when your kid achieves a first (or second or third, or ...) in sports day. It is the same feeling when I beat my mate(?) the other day in squash - haha. Goose bumps and a hunger for life. Love what you do!
Homage to guys like Keith. Recommend the videos titled...'Who do ya love?' and 'Keith St.Onge Cool Vid 1 & 2'
