Changes the rules!

Thanks to Clayton Nienaber (South Africa Team - Surf Coach) we hear mutterings electronic aids (like Headzone) could be banned by the International Surfing Assoc. FOR USE IN COMPETITION (note not training!).

He and his team have had such tremendous results (see email below) that 'the powers that be' recognise this could change the rules! This is a great accolade for our effectiveness.

As Clayton told us they used to talk of banning leg leashes on boards, had a healthy dialogue, but the improvement was ultimately welcomed! So the omens are good :-)

Many users email us explaining they use Headzone primarily for training/pre-competition and that is where we first thought of the product's value. We'll just have to see what happens about its use in the midst of competition - act fast if you want some titles while the debate is on!

We are hearing that in a number of sports they often carry something in their rules books to the effect 'coaching can be given from the waters' edge'. Under this ruling Headzone's good, but please check it out and let us know.

Right now we are talking with the Competition Comm. of 2 major sporting organizations. We'll keep you updated as stuff comes through. Let us know if you hear anything. Remember: Clayton told us he achieved more in 1 day than in 1 month due to Headzone (see 'What the experts say...' Aug '06) - and that was in the training!

EMAIL09/10/06:
Hi guys,
We had an excellent SA champs. All the kids who had been
coaching with the Headzone Helmets really excelled in the contest. We took;
18 division 1st and 2nd.
U 16 division 1st and 2nd.
U 14 division 2nd and 3rd.
Girls U 18 division 3rd.
Girls U 12 division 1st.

The International surfing association talked of a ruling to ban the use of any electronic aid in competition, but the
results from coaching alone speaks volumes in itself.

Thankyou for your support. Headzone rules!
Cheers Clayton

Clayton Quote from July ‘06
”I refuse to coach without headzone, I have achieved more in a single training session than I have in months of standing
on the beach wishing ‘if only they would listen!’"
